Hon Shirabe

This is a piece for B-flat trumpet and pipe organ, which could be replaced by another instrument — such as large accordion — capable of producing the drone part. The trumpet melody is loosely based on the traditional Japanese shakuhachi piece Hon Shirabe, also known as Choshi.
